 To curb the spread of coronavirus, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh yesterday announced a 21-day-long lockdown on the red zones under ward-41 of Wari, reports UNB.
 The restriction will be effective from 8am on July 4 which will be in force till July 25, reports The Business Standard.  After a meeting at Nagar Bhaban yesterday, Fazle Noor Taposh further said that the health directorate has specifically identified a few roads of the Wari zone.  A control centre will be set up there, booths will be set up.

 However, pharmacies and grocery stores will remain open.
 Arrangements will be made to supply daily necessities in coordination with the E-Commerce Association, said Taposh.
 Earlier, the Dhaka North City Corporation put West Rajabazar under lockdown from June 10 to contain the spread of coronavirus.
