The government has prepared a report on the economic fallout of coronavirus.
Finance, Commerce, Foreign and some other ministries have jointly prepared the report led by the Prime Minister’s Office.
As per the report, as many as 8 lakh expatriates working different countries of the world have returned after the deadly viral disease broke out.
Chances are slim that the expatriates will go back to the European and Middle Eastern countries until pandemic ends.
As a result, families solely dependent on the income of the expatriates will shrink further. This will have an adverse impact on the economy of the country.
