 In Satkhira, even though this time the mango yield is good, the farmers are worried about the fair price. Due to Covid-19 outbreak if they cannot sell mangoes, they will face huge losses.
 Satkhira District Agriculture Extension Department informed previous year 32 thousand metric ton mangoes have been produced at 4 thousand 100 hector land.  However, in this season authority targeted for 40 thousand metric ton mangos at 4 thousand 110 hector land.  As a result of coronavirus outbreak, mangos will not be exported this time. Mango farmers are in distress.
 Deputy Director of Satkhira Agriculture Extension Department Md. Nurul Islam said due to Covid-19 crisis compared to last time, this time mango farmers will face difficulties regarding fair price.
 He also added besides, mangos have suffered some damage due to rain.
