DOT Desk:  The country should be put under lockdown due to the current situation of the novel coronavirus, said the High Court today. A High Court bench of Justice Ashraful Kamal and Justice Sardar M Rashed Jahangir also advised to follow the instructions and directives given by the prime minister and government to curb coronavirus spread.  After hearing on a writ about setting up coronavirus testing lab, the court also urged all to fight against coronavirus together and follow the Taiwan model. Bangladesh confirmed first death from coronavirus infection on March 18, second on March 21, third on March 23, fourth death on March 24 and fifth one today. The total number of infected patients is now 39 in the country, reports The Business Standard.
