AK Abdul Momen informed that the students will be brought back home in phases soon and urged all to remain patient considering the prevailing situation in China.
State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Enamur Rahman said the returnees will be quarantined for 14 days like the 312 Bangladeshi nationals who were brought back from China’s Wuhan in the past.
The 312 students who were under observation for 14 days will return home today. The two ministers made the remarks while talking to Somoy yesterday. The Foreign Minister added: “But the good news for us is that our country is still safe. We brought back 312 people from China, but the virus was not found in the bodies of any of them.”
