JnU suspended 4 students in aerial allegation

Jagannath University administration and proctorial body suspended 4 of its students from the university without any kind of written complains and investigations against the accused, allegations raised.
The suspended students are , Ankon Boul, Sabbir Ahmed , Abu Sufian and Rabbi. All of them are 12th batch students of the Land Management and Law department. Allegations raised that university authorities issued the suspension order to term the university as “Ragging free” because there were no suspension orders like this before.
Earlier on January 6,the university authorities suspended its 4 students temporarily for their alleged involvement in ragging. The authorities stated that the accused had ragged a 15th batch student of the university.
Following the allegation against accused, the university authorities formed a three member probe body to look into it, heading the university proctor Md Mostofa Kamal other two members were assistant proctor Jafor Ikbal and Shilpi Rani Saha and they were instructed to make decision in this regard.Two days after the suspension order the accused four students demanded that they were not involved in ragging and submitted written complaint to VC to withdraw the suspension order.
They even alleged authorities didn’t contact to them before suspension even one of the accused said he didn’t come the university that day. On January 13, newly enrolled 53 students also submitted written complaint to the VC seeking withdrawal of 4 students suspension.
They stated suspended 4 students just had a introduction session with them in their classroom, they even don’t know them perfectly and not more contacted them afterwards and no incidents like ragging were not happened. When asked for written allegations, the authorities failed to provide that.
