Royal wedding of ex-MP Abdur Rahman Badi’s daughter

Former Cox’s Bazar-4 constituency member Abdur Rahman Badi and the current parliamentarian Shaheen Akhter Chowdhury’s one and only daughter were married in the royal ceremony, reports Jagonews24.com. A post-reception of their daughter Samia Rahman Sunny, honour’s third year student of Dhaka London University, was held on Friday at the Teknaf Municipality’s Chowdhurypara house.
Around 20 to 25 thousand people were present at the event.
The wedding had been preparing for the week.
According to local sources, locals have never seen such a royal wedding in the history of Teknaf. Abdur Rahman Badi supervised the wedding ceremony. The courtyard of the house of Shaheen Akhter Chowdhury and Abdur Rahman Badi, of Chowdhurypara municipality of Teknaf municipality, was arranged around the event.
One decoration worker said the money spent on decoration alone was spent on crores. In all, the wedding has cost upwards of crores.
Helal Uddin, personal assistant engineer of the former MP Abdur Rahman Badi, said that the son of Baronessa Rana Tajuddin, son of Surat Ali and Begum Manoyara Akhter of the Manoyara Mansion of the traditional basic family of Zainagar, Netrokona. Acad was completed almost nine months ago with Barrister Rana Tajuddin, MP’s daughter Samia Rahman Sunny.
