The holidaymakers have started leaving for their respective village homes to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with their near and dear ones.
On the first day of journey for Eid advance tickets, huge crowd was seen at Kamalapur Railway Station. The homebound people did not face almost no hassle as the trains left stations as per schedule.
The passengers who collected advance tickets on July 29 left their respective destinations yesterday. Launches left for different destinations from Sadarghat launch terminal Tuesday midnight.
While paying visits to different counters at Shyamoli, Kalyanpur and Gabtoli, it was seen that homebound people were waiting with their families for buses. Some people were seen to look for tickets. This time buses bound for southern regions have to wait for hours for ferry services.
