Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, captain of the One Day Internationals for Bang-ladesh National Cricket Team, is surpassing himself setting record one after another. He is now on the threshold of a rare record.
The veteran right-arm pacer is going to touch the 100th-wicket milestone as the captain in One Day International cricket. He is just away from three wickets to do the feat.
Only three bowlers have the feat in the world. Mashrafe is likely to cross the landmark in the tri-nation series against Ireland.
As captains, Legendary Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram took 158 wickets after playing 109 ODIs, Shaun Pollock took 134 wickets playing 97 matches and World Cup winner Imran Khan took 131 wickets after playing 139 matches.
As a captain, Mashrafe has now 97 wickets. He will be the fourth cricketer as a captain to touch the 100th-wicket milestone.
In terms of wins and win percentages, Mashrafe is unparalleled, superseding all other Bangladesh captains.
