If needed, Khaleda will remain imprisoned indefinitely, but will never negotiate with gov’t

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia does not want to negotiate and neither will she ever. If necessary, she’ll remain imprisoned indefinitely but will never bow down to this government.
BNP has not tried to negotiate with the government for Khaleda Zia’s release. This is nothing but the government’s rumor. Do we want to beg for Khaleda Zia’s release? She will receive her freedom through legal means. It will never be possible to keep her imprisoned through illegal machinations.
Khaleda doesn’t want release through parole. Why parole for a false case? We will prove the allegations against her are false in a court of law. We are working to this end. There is no question of going to the parliament. BNP will not take oath in this voterless parliament in exchange for Khaledia Zia’s freedom. The government has been premeditative spreading rumors – that BNP will join parliament in exchange of Khaleda’s release. But we want to clearly state to the government: BNP will never ever discuss or negotiate Khaleda’s release. Begum Zia herself does not want to. Even Tarique Rahman will not let it happen.
