After a 3 week period involving a phone interview, in-person interview, and a second round interview, candidate has not received any feedback. He is unable to reach Recruiter or HR Manager.
Has common courtesy become extinct? Respect is a two-way street. Potential employees deserve better. If you are not interested, don’t drag them along to build hope, only to disappoint them. A little empathy goes a long way. Candidates invest so much time & effort and even finances into preparing for interviews. Once a candidate gives of their time to be interviewed. They deserve feedback. No Excuses! Don’t leave candidates hanging. Grant them closure.
