The attack on a mosque in New Zealand’s Christchurch is “reprehensible,” says Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, reports Bangla Tribune.
“The incident was barbaric and shameful,” he told the media yesterday at the National Press Club.
“The Australian cricket team had many reservations about their safety before coming to our country,” he said before adding that the government provided them with VIP security.
“I don’t know why New Zealand didn’t,” he said.
The minister said that they were trying to find out more about who were shot, but the Bangladesh cricket team has decided to return.
