Iqtidar Ahmad speaks to DOT :
The university authority has ignored the demand from the student’s organization for give adequate time to prepare for the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election.
The election schedule announced on Monday will be held on March 11.
Prior to fixing the election schedule, adequate time should have been given to the student organizations to participate. Earlier the Bangladesh Chattra Dal demanded to postpone the election for at least three months..
But election committee ignored their call, Instead the committee was very rigid in their decision.
“We want the polls to be held peacefully and the students to elect their representatives of their choice,” he remarked.
