Muslims should raise voice to protect Ugyhur in China
Rana Dasgupta speaks to DOT :
Except the United Nations, non-Muslim countries and international organizations stood beside the Uyghur Muslims in China.
Unfortunately the Muslim nations did not raise voice against human rights violation by Red China.
Rana Dasgupta, quoting the UN report and other international human rights groups stated that nearly one million Uyghur Muslims were detained in China’s ‘terrorism’ centers, two million people were forcibly confined in ‘concentration camps’ to ‘politically brainwash’ the Muslims in Xinjiang province, west of China.
However, the Chinese government has always denied these allegations.
The Organizations of Islamic Conference (OIC) is yet to express concern about alarming situation for Uyghur Muslims. That’s why Muslim leaders are also silent.
Turkey was the first country to have protested China’s treatment of its minority Uyghur “a great cause of shame for humanity.”
Not only the Muslim countries, but also all the religious leaders should stand with behind them to protect their rights to practice religion.
Rana Dasgupta, general secretary of Bangladesh Hindu Buddha Christian Oikya Parishad.
