M Humayun Kabir: At least three people were killed and five others injured as a bus ploughed through roadside shop in Rajshahi city yesterday morning.
The deceased were identified as Anika, 12, Ismail Hossain, 25, and Sabuj, 30, all are residents of Rajshahi city, reports The Daily Star.
Quoting locals, Zillur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Shah Makhdum Police Station, said the driver of a Nawdapara-bound bus of Arrow Bengal Paribahan lost control over the steering and rammed two auto-rickshaws and a motorcycle before crashing into a roadside shop.

Soon after the accident, locals blockaded Nawdapara, the crime scene, halting vehicular movements in the area.
They later lifted the blockade around 1:30pm upon assurance from police that the bus driver will be brought to justice.
