People murdered in the name of anti-drug drives: Fakhrul
Sabah Mannan: People are being killed across the country in the name of anti-narcotics drives alleged Secretary General of BNP Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday. Talking to journalists at his village home in Thakurgaon, Fakhrul remarked that in a span of few days, around 30 people have been killed in the government’s so-called gunfights during the drives. He further added that the gunfights have caused panic among the general people including civil society and political quarters of the country, reports Daily Star.
The BNP politician demanded that drug dealers should be brought to justice but killing random people in the name of drives is not right.
