Aditta Saha: It is mandatory for the Anti-Corruption Comm-ission (ACC) that it works against corrupt people irrespective of their political or social status, said Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar, Founder Secretary of Shujan (Citizens for Good Governance). While talking to the Our Times yesterday, he also suggested that the ACC bring charges at court against the people who are found linked to anomalies through investigation. The anti-graft watchdog has to do so since the countrymen have faith in it, which does not need to be hampered, he opined, adding, the ACC must play its neutral role in its campaign against graft. If the ACC advances with its neutral image, it will impact the country’s politics positively, he concluded. Revise: Sayeed
