Uni student held red-handed with leaked SSC question paper
The law enforcers have detained a 24-year-old university student in possession of a set of leaked question papers in Sadar upazila of Madaripur.
The detainee, Zubaidul Islam, was caught red-handed with a soft copy of the English second part question paper of the ongoing SSC exams yesterday, reports Prothom Alo. The administration claimed that the copy of the question paper found in his mobile phone is matched the original paper of the examination.
A laptop and handset that were in the possession of Zubaidul, hailing from Amtali upazila of Barguna, were seized while he was on a Kuakata-bound Eagle Paribahan bus. “One Liton Bairagi informed us that they have apprehended a question paper leaker at Mostapur bus stop,” said Madaripur Additional Deputy Commissioner (revenue) Syed Faruk Ahammed. “Later, we went there and detained him with question and answer papers of the examination,” the ADC further said.
Meanwhile, Madaripur Sadar Model police officer Kamrul Hassan said they were trying to catch other members of the gang in which Zubaidul is linked to. When asked, Zubaidul admitted the crime, saying, “I used to exchange exam suggestions through a Facebook group named ‘Secret SSC 2K18’ in exchange of money. I’m not involved with any question paper leaks.’
