Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor on Wednesday stated that Bangladesh is a safe place for foreigners as the government has taken the necessary measures to ensure security of foreign nationals, reports Bss.He made the comments when newly appointed Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Hiroyasu Izumi called on him at the latter’s office here in Dhaka.The minister added that since the Holy Artisan attack Bangladesh has been able to successfully combat terrorism and militancy as well as organizing big international events like IPU, CPC and Dhaka Lit Fest successfully. Noor said that by successfully carrying out these events it proves that Bangladesh is a safe country for foreigners.
