Badda witnesses one more murder in two days

Just a day after a 28-year-old garage owner was found dead, the dead body of yet another youth has been discovered in the capital’s Badda area. The ill-fated has primarily been identified as Ujjal, 32, son of one Abdul Auwal. His detailed identity could not be ascertained immediately. Police said Ujjal was shot in the head at a house in Anandanagar area under Badda yesterday.Ujjal was a resident of a flat on the 3rd floor of house No. 20 on road No. 3 in the area. Badda police said Ujjal was shot from the left of his head and the bullet went through a bit above his right ear. Senior Assistant Commissioner (Badda zone) Ashraful Karim of Dhaka Metropolitan Police confirmed the death. On Monday, the first victim, Manzil Haq, was slaughtered to death inside his Aftabnagar residence in Badda. He was living was in his own flat on the 6th floor of a seven-storey building on road No. 3 at B-block in the area.Several young men and girl went to his flat yesterday morning and came out of it in the afternoon as they brutally murdered him. They were later detained in this connection.
