Digitized Justice Division: E-Judiciary System Establishing Project near Completion

The government plans to digitalize every judicial sector of the Justice Division, by next year. Ranging from metropolitan courts to high-court divisions. The project will revolutionize this division, increase time efficiency and will gradually gett rid of paper dependency. Authority aim to implement pure online based work-order publication from 2018. As part of this project, Wi-Fi connections have been installed in the courts of 64 districts. Also, many other facilities will be opening such as –witness writing in Bangla by voice commands, other automations sections, tracking of case progresses & information, digital displays at each court, all the lower courts are connected with the Supreme Court via video conference system, e-library and archive etc. Even, 125 laptops & 200 tabs have already been disctributed among the lawyers of lower-level courts. Through these general people will have the opportunity to get services from the court & the appeal division, right from the website or via automatic sms authorization.
