AL to focus on women, young voters: Quader

Obaidul Quader, road transport and bridges minister for Bangladesh Government said that for the upcoming national election, Awami League is mostly focusing on the women and young voters. Asking the party’s leaders to take preparations, the minister on tuesday said this while addressing a discussion organised by DSCC (Dhaka South City Corporation). The minister and also the general secretary of the ruling party asked the party leaders to get united solving all internal problems. He assures AL’s win if association of its development and attainment under PM Sheikh Hasina government with good behaviour can be done. Marking the 11th death anniversary of the first elected mayor of DCC Mohammad Hanif, he said that Hanif’s ideology to politics was to love the people of the country which made him popular even after his demise. BNP may not have organized themselves in an organized way but that doesn’t mean they are weak. All anti-AL and communal forces under the auspices of BNP have reunited. While Khaleda ranked the third corrupt leader, Our Prime-minister Sheikh Hasina ranked the third honest leader in 173 countries.
