Many recall the glazing innings of Brendon McCullum in the very first match of the first Indian Premier League (IPL). McCullum smashed an innings of 158 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders. He is now all set to make his maiden appearance on the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Rangpur Riders signed with the attacking batsman-cum-wicket-keeper last month. The former New Zealand skipper is already here in Bangladesh to mark his debut in BPL. McCullum retired from the national team in 2016. However, he continued playing various T20 leagues across the world. Besides holding the record for scoring the most runs in T20s till now, he remains the only batsman to gather more than 2,000 T20 runs. Another star striker Chris Gayle also landed in Dhaka Thursday morning. Gayle too will be playing for the Riders.
