The newly released files about JFK’s assassination disclosed a lot of things. Firstly, it proclaimed that the CIA once looked into whether Hitler was alive following World War II whereas Hitler committed suicide in April of 1945, shortly before Germany surrendered to the Allied forces. The documents also revealed information about Martin Luther King Jr. alleging that he had extramarital affairs and had a proclivity for orgies. The scandalous files also tied King to various communist influences and asserted financial improprieties with the civil rights organization that he led.The pages of classified CIA reports also shed light on Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated United States President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. According to American Intelligence, Oswald’s mysterious visits to the Soviet and Cuban Embassies in Mexico City weeks before John F. Kennedy’s assassination was thought to be a part of a larger Cuban or Soviet plot to destabilize and weaken the United States.
