The report critically assessed & deemed the foods in the streets & hotels in the Dhaka city, to be hazardous. They have analyzed samples from 46 standard schools in Dhaka, in their National Food Tasting Laboratory. Samples of 46 jhalmuri, 30 fuchka, 16 velpuri & 42 achaar. The results were very alarming. Micro-toxin, yeast molds, coliform, salmonella, e-coli and many other dangerous  germs were found in all of these foods. Among these, the amount of yeast molds & coliform were out of the charts. Even typhoid carrying salmonella bacteria’s existence was in about 35% of the collected samples.A private university research showed that, all the kabab hotels in Dhaka have the salmonella bacteria in all their foods, said RAJUK Chairman Md Rokon-Ud- Doula.
