The opposition has not been very careful rather they have not been particularly thoughtful in their pronouncements about Myanmar or about Rohinga situation, said Former Secretary and Ambassador for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Wali Ur Rahman to Daily Our Time. Mentioning some existing anxieties he blamed the military rule and the inability to organize things of Ziaur Rahman, Ershad & Begum Zia for if they are exposed to difficulties. We want a solution, we don’t want any political rivalry here. Mentioning the right and careful movement of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina regarding Rohinga Issue Wali Ur Rahman included: Her speech in the UN was right, correct and timely and we are sure that we will be able to find a permanent solution under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. She is very careful and motivated and she wants solution and; we are there to make it a permanent one. Wali Ur Rahman also expressed his opinion on the importance of deploying Army in the upcoming national election. He said, We already have a system worked out. Army will be there as a striking force but will not be having any magistracy power. This is not done anywhere in the world. Civil authorities are there to take care of issues such as General Election and ensuring security. They are equipped to do that. We have democracy, we have democratically elected government. So this government will make sure that election takes place with the participation of all the political parties in the country. By saying this, I mean that people can go and vote. So we don’t need Army Deployment but, they will be there if necessary as a striking force.
