At Sreemangal and Kamalgonj of Moulvibazar district , small and large fish species are going to be extinct in the river, haor, canal-bills. Pesticides use on tea grasslands and other cultivable land, rivers and bills irrigation, bamboo fencing in the river, haor, canal, bills filled with current ponds Fish breeding has reduced due to excessive rate due to various reasons. The market is rich in the cultivation of native varieties of fish. It is important to meet the needs of the fish. Sources of fish production is declining. Mother and father fish going missing. Sylhet Divisional Fisheries official said, this situation would be speedily improved if the Fisheries department separately formed Haor Fisheries Development Project or Sylhet Divisional Fisheries Development Center in greater Sylhet. And then it will be possible to take various programs including fishery training. Fisheries experts say that not only by law or project, the public should be made aware of all species of fish. Simultaneously, fisheries need alternative employment. Kamalgonj Fisheries Officer Mohammad Shahadat Hossain said, All mothers and parents fish should have in nature. There is a lot of need for self-employment of fish.
