New set of laws will be added, and former laws for establishing & operating Private Medical Colleges will be revised. Since, current ones have many critical gaps. The final report regarding this proposal will soon be sent to the Cabinet, said Health & Family Welfare Minister Md. Nasim. In a conference meeting with Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC). It was arranged at the Secretariat on yesterday. BMDC President and all the employees were presented at the event.BMDC’s main complaint at the conference was that, many medical institutions are bringing foreign doctors in Bangladesh. These doctors often do to have to proper practicing certification and stay long pasttheir permitted time period. BMDC requested Md. Nasim to strengthen the laws regarding this issue. Then, also requested him to look into other directorial & operational laws for private medical colleges as well.
