Every field employee & officers are annoyed about the unnecessary delay at administrative level. The tribunal should have been formed over a week ago. But none can explain why the gadget has not been published yet. Prosecutor Zead Al Malum shared his frustration to the media in this manner, regarding the reformation of the international crime tribunal. Prosecutor Mokhlesur Rahman Badal also mentioned that, they are working regularly at their cases. But, court permission is needed even for investigations. 33 cases have piled up, against 141 accused. Witnesses are getting hassled and accused ones are doing jail-time without judgement. The death of the tribunal Chairman left a big & unexpected void in the work process. Since, 13 July. So far, a panel of 3 judges had been finalized. Including Judge Shahinur Islam as the Chairman. Then, Supreme Court’s High Court Division’s Judge Amir Hossen and recently retired District judge, Judge Abu Ahmed Jomadar, are other two memebers.
