BNP is giving aid to Rohingyas living in Bangladesh. Informed by Cox’s Bazar district BNP Office Editor Yusuf Badri. Even though administration told they don’t know anything about this. For the last two weeks they were trying to give aid but could not because of blockade from administration. However they claim they had given the aid. On 13th September, with the assistance of BNP’s Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas, a team of leaders and supporters went to Cox’s Bazar with 22 trucks of aid. On the way to Rohingya camp, the administration stopped them. For which, aid for 4000 people are stored in the BNP office in Cox’s Bazar. Yusuf Badri said, next day after the administration blocked us, BNP distributed the aid. At first, Mirza Abbas distributed some and then the local leaders distributed the rest. The administration didn’t stop us then. Cox’s Bazar district administration spokesman and Additional District Magistrate Khaled Mahmud said, I don’t know anything about BNP giving aid. He adviced to contact with Additional deputy commissioner (ICT and Education) Mahidur Rahman. When contacted, he also said the same thing. BNP’s aid were never under our custody. We don’t know what did they do with those aids.
