Flood Causality, 775 Crores Taka Worth Fish Resources

About 775 crores taka worth fish resources were lost to the flood this year. Estimates Department of Fisheries collecting data from all over the country.
This deficit report will be sent to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries & Water Resource Management. Requesting compensation for the flood affected victims with fishery resources, confirmed Md. Goljar Hossen, Sub-Director of Department of Fisheries.
Administrations are already thinking about ways to overcome this situation & compensate accordingly, said State Minister Narayan Chandra of Fisheries And Livestock. Though, the Fishery owners had been asking for loan excuse or the opportunity for collection new loans. But, the administrations have thought about it yet.
The initial estimation reports, about 1.32 lacs farm owners of 36 districts were harmed by this flood. Over 110 crores fingerlings and 52 thousand metric tons fishes washed away in the flood.
Rangpur division suffered the most. Its 8 districts have lost over 330.33 crores taka worth resources. Khulna is the second most, with 224.42 crores taka worth loss count.
