Police Warned Residential Hotels About Border Booking 3 Days Ago

Regarding the Janmashtami ceremony on 14th & National Mourning Day on 15th, Police-force already took special security measurement anticipating terrorist attacks. Also, there had been serious records of terrorist’s, series bombing of 17 August and tragic grenade attacks on 21 August.
As part of security precaution by police, all the residential hotels were advised not to register any new guests after 13 August. Those are within wider areas of Dhanmondi, Kalabagan, Sobhanbag, Panthapath, Green-Road, Tejgaon & areas around.
Also, guests living at the borders of the hotels, were requested to move the next morning & those room were forbidden for renting. Information of other residents were collected as well.
Even all the hotels within these mentioned areas, were searched by police on Monday night. Hotel Oli in Panthapath, was searched thoroughly as well.
One of the room user of that hotel, objected to open his door and promised he would open in the morning. This created suspicion in police. Hence, they geared up for an operation in the morning. During the mission, the terrorist Saiful died in suicide-bombing.
